My baked beans worked really well - golden syrup was fine - the combination of the sweetness, cider vinegar for sour, some mustard and paprika was lovely - and I did find borlotti beans in a can! Last week I used the most delicious, very red Roma tomatoes in a can in place of my fresh ones. They worked a treat! You can buy them at Coles. I'll check on the name as I need to buy more. I'm pretty sure the can is blue with red Roma Tomatoes and a cartoon picture of an Italian girl.
